Curriculum Adoption Cycle

Woodland Park School District is on a five year curriculum study cycle.  All content areas align to the Colorado Content Standards with grade level benchmarks defined for our district.

As part of our five year curriculum study cycle, the district is working to re-align grade level expectations from a K-12 perspective, identify grade level essential skills or target skills, create common assessments for content areas not tested through CSAP (Colorado Student Assessment Program), and recommend textbooks and materials that support our aligned curriculum.

MODIFICATION:  Fall 2008 – The Curriculum Adoption Cycle was suspended for a year while the state is completing their process through SB 08-212 of standards realignment.
